About me

I have been working as a psychotherapist since 2006. For more than a decade, I ran the STATEK PSYCHOLOGIA psychotherapy center in Warsaw, which I founded, and I now continue my work in a solo practice.

I hold a degree in clinical psychology from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (now SWPS University). I further developed my skills through a four-year training program in cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy for adults, conducted under the auspices of the Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre in the UK.

I also completed a comprehensive four-year training in adult psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the Analytical Psychotherapy School in Warsaw, which operates in affiliation with the Polish Society for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. The program follows the standards of the British Psychoanalytic Association and the European Federation of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.

I am a member of the Psychotherapy Section of the Polish Psychological Association and of the Polish Society for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. I regularly work under the supervision of certified PTPP supervisors, which supports both the quality and ongoing development of my clinical work.

My training includes a four-year theoretical seminar and an equally long supervised practice, as well as an intensive six-year personal psychoanalysis conducted on the couch.

I feel that such in-depth training provides significant insight into my own inner world, which, in turn, enhances my understanding of my patients’ internal experiences and the processes unfolding in the therapeutic relationship.
